As a Special Education Case Manager, you’ll work full-time in a contract position, deeply engaged with 8th-grade learners in a collaborative and well-supported environment. What you’ll bring:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education Teaching License (1900 Endorsement) strongly preferred; candidates with qualifying coursework may be considered for a letter of eligibility through the Board
- Proven experience or aptitude for working as a Special Education Teacher or managing IEP cases, particularly in school settings
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple student needs efficiently
- Familiarity with a wide range of disabilities, with emphasis on autism spectrum disorders and ADHD
- Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, general education staff, and families
What you’ll do:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20–30 eighth-grade students, focusing on those requiring specialized services and accommodations
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning needs
- Maintain detailed case notes, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal documentation requirements
- Partner with co-case managers and paraprofessional staff to ensure Student Success
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
