Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Initiate and manage IV therapy, IV starts, and ventilator care
- Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond to clinical changes
- Function effectively in the charge nurse role when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Required QualificationsEducation
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Licensure & Certifications
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of ER travel experience
- Experience with IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring
Preferred Certifications
- TNCC
- ENPC
- PALS
- De-escalation Certification
