Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting in Westminster, Vermont. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and/or classroom support to students based on individual needs
Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
Support teachers with classroom activities and daily instruction
Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Assist students with transitions, routines, and daily activities
Provide behavioral support and redirection when needed
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and school staff
Support students with personal care needs as appropriate
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
Experience supporting students with special needs is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, reliable, and adaptable
Ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team
