Automotive Parts Manager & Dispatcher

Full-Time | $80,000–$100,000 | Experienced Role

An independent European specialty repair shop is looking for a Parts Manager & Dispatcher with a proven track record in the parts department. This role combines inventory management with workflow coordination—keeping the right parts on hand and the right jobs flowing to the right technicians.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $80,000–$100,000 annually

  • Medical, Vision, and Dental (50% employer-paid for you and your family)

  • 3% retirement match

  • PTO and paid holidays

Shop Culture & Perks:

  • Regular team outings (UTV trips, camping, bowling, and more)

  • Access to STX training events

  • Technician-friendly, appreciative work environment

What Makes a Successful Fit:

  • Experience: 4+ years in the parts department

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to thrive with minimal supervision

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and strong negotiation skills

  • Professional communicator, both verbal and written

  • Positive personality with pride in your work and willingness to support co-workers

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the parts department, keeping stock and supplies at proper levels

  • Read estimates, price out parts, and negotiate best pricing with vendors

  • Provide detailed notes on repair orders (part numbers, source, warranty, etc.)

  • Dispatch work to technicians and maintain an updated workflow schedule

  • Collaborate with service writers and technicians to optimize workflow

  • Maintain organized stock areas: parts, tires, and hardware

  • Oversee systems for loss prevention: returns, cores, warranties

  • Ensure parts-related delays are communicated to service advisors

  • Keep the department neat, clean, and efficient

  • Attend meetings and complete at least 50 hours of training annually

This is a leadership role for someone ready to take ownership of a department and play a key role in keeping the shop running at its best.
