Support the development and success of middle and high school students by providing essential classroom assistance as a paraprofessional in a welcoming educational setting. This contract opportunity offers a blend of 1:1 student support and general classroom roles, working side by side with dedicated educators and impacting learners’ daily experience.

Your days will be structured around school hours, offering consistent full-time employment throughout the academic year. You’ll play a vital part in fostering an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Proof of high school diploma (no additional paraprofessional certifications or higher education required)
• Previous school-based experience or related classroom experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to provide three completed professional references, including most recent manager, before interviewing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to supporting student growth and learning

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom management and daily instructional activities
• Offer individualized support for students as assigned, including 1:1 assistance
• Help facilitate small-group learning, reinforcing lesson material
• Encourage student engagement and independence while maintaining a supportive presence
• Follow educators’ guidance and school protocols for confidentiality and student safety
• Complete assigned tasks promptly and contribute to a positive classroom culture
