Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with K-5 students, particularly in conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing recommendations
- Prior work with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including evaluation and counseling responsibilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Collaborative approach to working with faculty, administration, and families
Responsibilities:
- Carrying a caseload of K-5 students, providing tailored support and interventions
- Administering evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
- Leading small group counseling sessions for students with IEPs
- Documenting progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in IEP meetings
- Consulting with teachers and parents to implement effective strategies
