Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele in a hospital setting located in Plymouth, MA. This travel temporary assignment starts on 11/30/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,584 to $2,676, with guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly. Shift is 12-hour nights (3x12). This role participates in a float pool model for MS Tele floors and overflow areas, and orientation is biweekly under the guidance of the nurse leadership team. Responsibilities
- Deliver bedside nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients during 12-hour night shifts
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, interpret rhythm strips, and respond to dysrhythmias per protocol
- Administer prescribed medications, manage IV therapies, and monitor for adverse reactions
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, update care plans, and document in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with the care team (charge nurse, physicians, and support staff) to ensure safe, timely patient throughput
- Float to like units and overflow areas as needed to support patient care needs
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- BLS certification required
- AHABLS certification current
- Ability to pass required Telemetry ECG and medication competency tests during onboarding (85% passing score; one attempt)
- Willingness to float to related units and overflow areas as needed
- Orientation is biweekly; NM will conduct interviews and offers; provide availability for interviews at submission
