Pay and Benefits:
- $31-$39/hour based on experience
- Full-time Monday through Friday schedule

What You’ll Do:
As our Lead Carpenter, you’ll be the on-site leader responsible for managing daily jobsite operations while completing high-quality carpentry work. You'll report directly to the Production Manager and work closely with subcontractors and homeowners to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to Morrison's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carpentry & Quality Work
- Perform all phases of residential remodeling carpentry, including rough and finish work
- Complete framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and detailed finish work
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documents
- Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
Leadership & Jobsite Management
- Lead daily jobsite activities and coordinate subcontractors as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Protect client property and maintain professionalism in occupied homes
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and needs with the Production Manager
Project Coordination
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and jobsite needs
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and final walkthroughs
- Help keep projects organized and moving forward
What We’re Looking For:
- 5-8 years of residential remodeling carpentry experience
- Expert-level rough and finish carpentry skills and the confidence to work independently
- Experience leading a jobsite, crew, or subcontractors preferred
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans
- Strong problem-solving skills with the initiative to anticipate challenges and develop practical solutions in the field
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to perform the essential functions of residential construction, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working in a variety of weather conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) preferred
