Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students within a unique educational program designed for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This position is situated in Ludlow, MA, serving the Compass High Program at the local high school, which offers personalized, supportive education outside traditional settings to cultivate independence skills.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Ludlow, MA (assignment site), with the clients main office in West Springfield, MA
  • Schedule: 15-20 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days
  • Duration: Extended School Year (ESY) contract from July 6, 2026, to August 7, 2026, with potential to extend into the 2026/2027 school year
  • Setting: Specialized high school program focused on students with ASD and learning differences

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services tailored to the needs of high school students within the Compass High Program
  • Provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) services experience is required, although AAC evaluations are not a primary responsibility
  • Collaborate with educational and clinical teams to develop and implement personalized strategies supporting communication and independence
  • Adhere to all state licensure requirements and educational standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in the state
  • Experience working with high school students, particularly those with ASD or similar learning differences
  • Familiarity with AAC service provision in educational settings
