Radiologic Technologist – Pain Management / Fluoroscopy (Bone Density Required)
13 Weeks | 40 hrs/week | 10-Hour Rotating Shifts
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Boston, MA 02215
Start Date: ASAP
Local Radius Rule: No local travelers accepted (must live 50+ miles from facility)
Position Overview
Top Boston facility is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support a high-volume Pain Management Center. The ideal candidate will have bone density experience clearly documented in their work history and must be confident assisting with fluoroscopy imaging, C-arms, and pain injection procedures.
This role requires a skilled, adaptable technologist who can work closely with pain physicians, manage imaging equipment efficiently, and maintain a strong focus on patient safety and procedural accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality fluoroscopic imaging for spinal and joint pain procedures
- Operate and position C-arms accurately for pain injections
- Assist pain physicians with fluoro-guided injections and procedural support
- Set up and break down all kits, trays, and medications required for injections
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment
- Follow all safety, radiation protection, infection control, and HIPAA standards
- Utilize advanced technical/computer skills as required for imaging systems
- Provide excellent patient care, communication, and comfort during procedures
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical training in Medical Radiography
- MA Radiologic Technologist License (Radiography)
- ARRT Registration – Radiology
- BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of related Radiology experience
- Documented Bone Density experience – MUST be listed in work history
- Strong knowledge of C-arms, fluoroscopy, and pain management procedures
