Job Description

Job DescriptionStep into a pivotal role as a Physical Therapy Assistant and join a dynamic care team dedicated to restoring mobility, independence, and confidence for patients on the Seacoast of New Hampshire. In Hampton, a charming coastal community known for its welcoming neighborhoods, family-friendly charm, and easy access to beaches and outdoor recreation, you’ll apply hands-on techniques, guide patients through purposeful, evidence-based exercises, and collaborate with licensed therapists to tailor rehabilitation plans that empower real, measurable progress. This travel assignment starts on 11/24/2025, with assignment duration measured in weeks, guaranteeing 35 hours per week and a competitive weekly pay of $1,579-$1,603. Picture yourself making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while discovering New England’s beauty—the White Mountains within a short scenic drive, tranquil lakes, and a coastline that offers brilliant sunsets, seasonal festivals, and plenty of opportunities for weekend explorations.

New Hampshire’s allure extends well beyond its iconic scenery. Hampton sits at the heart of a region famed for outdoor adventures, seafood shacks with fresh catches, and a culture that blends small-town warmth with sophisticated dining and cultural experiences. You’ll experience coastal living with the option to explore the White Mountains, Fall foliage corridors, and lakeside retreats during time off. For a traveling PTA, this role also opens the door to working across locations in the United States, diversifying clinical exposure in outpatient clinics, inpatient rehabilitation units, skilled nursing facilities, and specialty centers. Each assignment brings new patient populations, care settings, and collaborative teams, all while maintaining stable guaranteed hours and a consistent weekly compensation framework.

Role specifics and benefits begin with the patient-facing core: assess current function and limitations, design and implement individualized exercise programs, gait and balance training, functional mobility drills, and manual therapy as appropriate under the supervision of a PT. You’ll monitor progress, adjust treatment plans in response to patient response, educate patients and families about home exercise programs, and document outcomes with precision. You’ll partner with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions of care. In addition to hands-on rehabilitation, you’ll help establish safety protocols, adhere to documentation standards, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to align goals. This role offers robust opportunities for professional growth: pursue specialty certifications in geriatrics, orthopedics, or neuro-rehabilitation; engage in mentorship from experienced clinicians; and gain exposure to diverse treatment modalities and adaptive equipment. As you expand your clinical repertoire, you’ll become an integral contributor to the patient’s journey back to independence.

We support you with a comprehensive benefits package designed for travel professionals. In addition to a competitive weekly pay range, you may qualify for a sign-on or performance bonus, providing an extra boost as you build your travel career. Housing assistance is available to simplify relocation and housing logistics as you move between assignments, and there are clear extension opportunities to continue your travel journey if you wish to deepen your exposure to different patient populations and care environments. The program emphasizes stability with guaranteed hours and predictable scheduling, while offering the flexibility to explore new locations at a pace that suits your personal and professional goals. You will also receive 24/7 support while traveling with the company, so you’re never alone when you face clinical questions, travel concerns, or urgent needs on assignment. Our travel infrastructure includes ongoing administrative support, credentialing assistance, and access to a dedicated clinical liaison who is available around the clock.

Company values center on empowering every staff member to grow, thrive, and lead with confidence. We’re committed to fostering a culture that respects your expertise, rewards your contributions, and offers a supportive environment where professional development is a natural part of daily work. Your voice matters—from clinical decisions to program improvements—and your career path is designed with clarity, mentorship, and opportunities to ascend into leadership roles or expand into specialty practice areas. By aligning your skills with our mission to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care, you’ll build lasting relationships with patients, families, and teammates who share your passion for rehabilitation and quality outcomes.

If you’re ready to embark on a rewarding travel PTA career that emphasizes impact, growth, and work–life balance, this is a compelling opportunity. Apply now to join a company that values your expertise, supports your development, and champions your professional trajectory as you help patients in Hampton—and across the U.S.—restore function and confidence, one session at a time. The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
