Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support students across grades K-12 in a school setting located in North Adams, MA. This contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload spanning early childhood through high school grades.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies tailored to students' individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support the mental health and academic performance of students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student needs
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, including early childhood and high school populations
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and intervention methodologies
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and educators
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time, based on availability and district needs
