Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tire Technician role based in Portsmouth, NH. The Tire Technician will inspect, mount, dismount, repair, and replace tires on commercial trucks, trailers, and other vehicles, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Responsibilities include performing tire rotations and balancing, checking tread depth and tire pressure, and assisting with roadside tire service when needed. The role involves maintaining tire equipment and tools, documenting work performed, and following safety procedures and company standards. The Tire Technician will collaborate with service advisors, drivers, and other technicians to support efficient shop operations and positive customer experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong Maintenance & Repair skills, including experience with commercial tires and general vehicle service.
- Ability to work with Batteries and related systems, with attention to safety and proper handling.
- Equipment Maintenance skills to properly use, maintain, and troubleshoot tire service tools and machinery.
- Interpersonal Skills and a focus on Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with truck and trailer systems.
- Ability to lift and move heavy tires and equipment, and to work in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license; commercial driving experience or CDL is a plus.
- Prior experience in tire service, automotive, or truck repair is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions is essential.
