Senior Vascular Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $105,000 - $126,000 per year

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (paid after 90 days of employment)


The Role:

Our Boston, MA based client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vascular Technologist to join our IAC Accredited Vascular Laboratory. This is a fantastic opportunity for an advanced technologist to play a key role in a collaborative, state-of-the-art environment.

In this senior position, you will perform a full spectrum of complex vascular studies and serve as a mentor and resource to our team of dedicated technologists. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of renowned Vascular Surgeons, Cardiologists, Neurologists, and Fellows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and analyze a comprehensive range of non-invasive vascular studies with a high degree of expertise, including:
  • Non-Invasive Carotid Studies
  • Arterial & Venous Duplex Studies (AVF, Graft/Stent Surveillance)
  • Transcranial Doppler Studies
  • Renal Artery Studies
  • Arterial Physiology studies
  • Vein Mapping studies
  • Operate and maintain proficiency with all vascular laboratory equipment.
  • Mentor, support, and provide guidance to staff sonographers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.
  • Establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the healthcare team across all departments.


Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, OR
  • Associate’s Degree in Vascular Technology/Ultrasound, OR
  • A BS/AS in any allied health/science discipline plus a certificate from an accredited vascular ultrasound program.


Certification:

  • Must be certified through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).


Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in vascular ultrasound technology.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in performing a wide array of non-invasive vascular exams.
  • Proven experience in a mentorship or senior capacity is highly desirable.
