A unique part-time position is available for a speech-language pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) who is interested in providing dedicated services to a small caseload in a highly supportive environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with a select group of students, contributing to their communication growth throughout the school year with a manageable workload.
Key qualifications and preferred experience:
- Active and current New Hampshire SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Demonstrated experience working with students diagnosed with selective mutism
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering individualized and evidence-based speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Managing a caseload of three students, with approximately six hours of direct service weekly
- Attending relevant meetings and completing mandated documentation during the assigned weekly schedule
- Consulting with staff and families to help generalize communication strategies within the classroom environment
- Maintaining compliance with all required documentation and reporting standards
This contract offers a predictable one-day-per-week schedule, making it a great fit for SLPs seeking flexibility or supplemental hours within the school setting. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2027, providing valuable continuity of care for your students.
