\n\nJob Requirements\n

- Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science with a certificate in radiation therapy from an accredited program\n
- Registered or registry-eligible by the ARRT (must obtain registration within one year of graduation)\n
- Valid Massachusetts state radiation therapist license required\n
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification\n
- Two years of experience as a Radiation Therapist required (radiation oncology/hospital experience preferred)\n
- Excellent interpersonal and patient-care skills for clinical oncology and radiation therapy settings\n

- Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist in accordance with treatment plans\n
- Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment within departmental policies (including linear accelerator/LINAC operations and treatment setup)\n
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning throughout simulation and treatment\n
- Maintain accurate treatment records, documentation, and treatment charts in the electronic medical record\n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary radiation oncology teams—therapists, dosimetrists, and physicians—to deliver high-quality patient care\n
- Adhere to regulatory, safety, and QA procedures in the radiation therapy unit\n
