Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students (K–5)
- Solid understanding of therapy techniques appropriate for school settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, supportive environment
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services according to student IEP goals under SLP supervision
- Collaborate actively with the two on-site supervising SLPs for guidance and support
- Conduct small group and individual therapy sessions targeting expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language skills
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
- Support classroom teachers with strategies and resources to promote carryover of skills
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative school culture
