Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students (K–5)
  • Solid understanding of therapy techniques appropriate for school settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, supportive environment
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services according to student IEP goals under SLP supervision
  • Collaborate actively with the two on-site supervising SLPs for guidance and support
  • Conduct small group and individual therapy sessions targeting expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language skills
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
  • Support classroom teachers with strategies and resources to promote carryover of skills
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative school culture
