Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or clinical settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to provide individualized and group therapy sessions
- Commitment to fostering supportive learning environments for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-age population
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultation and resources to educators and parents to support carryover of skills
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
