A new contract opportunity is now open for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with a dedicated middle school caseload for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position will start as soon as possible and continue through June 2027, offering stable, full-time work.

Core Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active COTA certification and state licensure
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to support students with diverse learning needs
  • Organizational skills and reliability, with a commitment to a full school year
  • Comfort working with middle schoolers in an educational environment
  • Flexibility to adapt with evolving caseload details

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions under the oversight of an OT
  • Support the implementation of student IEP goals and classroom participation
  • Document services and progress notes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work closely with teachers, school leaders, and parents to ensure student success
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture for all learners
