• Location: Danvers, Massachusetts\n
• Healthcare Setting: PACU – Day Surgery (no overnight surgery)\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)\n
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, closed Fridays\n
• Hours: 35 hours per week (alternating 3x9hr shifts and 3x9hr + 1x8hr shifts)\n
• Shift Start Times: 6:15am, 7:00am, or 8:00am (varies)\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2390–$2560\n
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract\n
• Orientation: Biweekly start dates (12/15, 12/29, etc.)\n

\n\nPACU RN Job Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or acute care Registered Nurse experience\n
• Active Massachusetts RN license required\n
• IV Certification required\n
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC equivalency) certifications (all AHA)\n
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months and in good standing\n
• Ability to admit pre-op patients and recover post-op patients in a clinical setting\n
• No local candidates considered (travel nursing applicants only)\n

\n\nPACU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Admit and prepare patients for day surgery procedures in the PACU\n
• Monitor and recover post-operative patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort\n
• Administer IV medications and monitor patient vital signs\n
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes\n
• Maintain accurate patient records and electronic documentation\n
• Provide compassionate care, patient education, and clinical support\n
