Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current Vermont OT Certification is required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations highly desirable
- Capable of managing a caseload spanning K-12 across multiple school buildings
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services across the district to students in grades K-12
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ academic, behavioral, and daily living needs
- Collaborate actively with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help shape effective educational strategies
This full-time, contract role is an ideal fit for professionals passionate about empowering students and seeking variety in their day-to-day work. The position runs from August 26th, 2026 to June 14th, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35-37.5 hours.
