Position: Telemetry Nurse\n\nRole Overview:\nThe Telemetry Nurse provides care for patients with critical or life-threatening conditions, monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, assessing hemodynamic status, and administering prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nRecognize and assist patients in shock or other life-threatening complications\n\nAssist with emergency and elective cardioversions and temporary pacemaker insertions\n\nMonitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings\n\nPatient Population:\n\nAdolescent, adult, and geriatric patients\n\nMust effectively interact on an interdisciplinary level, adapting communication to each patient’s intellectual and physical abilities
