A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist (24-Hour Pharmacy). This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).

Licensed Pharmacist | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Taunton, MA – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $65.75/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | Monday to Friday, shift times will vary
    • Shifts that may start as early as 8:00 AM and end as late as 12:00 AM (midnight)
    • Weekends optional (not required)

Licensed Pharmacist | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Licensed Pharmacist will support daily operations in a 24-hour pharmacy by accurately dispensing prescription medications, counseling patients on safe and effective medication use, and ensuring proper documentation and inventory control. This role also partners with healthcare providers and supervises pharmacy support staff to maintain efficient, patient-focused service.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Licensed Pharmacist | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Counsel patients on medication use, dosing, side effects, storage, and potential interactions (Rx and OTC)
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient profiles and pharmacy records
  • Monitor medication compliance patterns and identify potential medication-related issues
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy concerns
  • Compound medications as needed (internal/external use) and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
  • Supervise and support pharmacy staff (e.g., technicians/clerks) to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
  • Educate patients on proper handling/use of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters)

Licensed Pharmacist | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • License: Active Pharmacist license in Massachusetts (in good standing)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule within the pharmacy’s operating hours (including possible evening shifts)
