This full-time contract position is available immediately and runs through mid-June 2027. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
  • Experience in a substantially separate or similar special education classroom preferred
  • Ability to effectively teach and nurture students across multiple grade levels
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to individualized instruction and creating an inclusive classroom
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated commitment to student success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs
  • Guide and inspire a classroom of students with varying abilities in grades 2 and 3
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, support staff, and related service providers
  • Assess student progress regularly and modify instruction appropriately
  • Communicate effectively with families and build a supportive learning community
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and school policies
