Key Qualifications:
- Active LPN, LVN, or CNA license (in good standing)
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or youth-focused healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency in tube feedings, flushes, and management of blowouts is essential
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare team
- Reliability and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily medical care and health monitoring to the assigned high school student
- Administer tube feedings and manage feeding equipment safely and according to protocol
- Perform regular flushes/blowouts as per clinical requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate any changes in student health status
- Support the overall well-being of the student, promoting a safe, respectful environment throughout the school day
- Work collaboratively with school nurses, staff, and families to ensure consistent care
Position Details & Schedule:
- Contract assignment; 32 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 2:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch included)
