Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Night shifts: 7:15 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
- Three 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and rotating holidays
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring step-down level treatment
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize clinical judgment to respond to changes in patient status
- Document care accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support patient and family education to enhance recovery and discharge readiness
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Proven experience in a step-down or progressive care unit
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
