About Crotched Mountain School:
Join a dedicated team at Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire — a unique residential and day program serving children and young adults (up to age 22) with neurodevelopmental disabilities. We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled Education Supervisor ready to make a meaningful difference every day.
Overview:
The Education Supervisor oversees Paraeducator I and Paraeducator II staff and, under the direction of the Education Director, manages campus operations during education hours.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Paraeducator I and II staff during school hours
- Ensure student safety, dignity, and engagement in a therapeutic learning environment
- Oversee implementation of behavior support plans and Safety Care practices
- Manage daily staff schedules and ensure required staffing ratios
- Support staff training, performance evaluations, and coaching
- Act as campus “in-charge” during assigned shifts, including school closures or holidays
- Communicate student needs to appropriate staff and advocate for individualized supports
- Distribute prescribed medications as trained and authorized as needed
- Respond appropriately to crises and maintain a calm, structured atmosphere
- Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least two years of childcare experience.
- Experience in health and human services or a related field is a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
