Job Details
The Assistant General Manager partners with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of our full-service dining establishment. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing daily operations, driving financial performance, and leading the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations ensuring seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house
- Establish and maintain service excellence standards across all guest touchpoints
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor laws, and company policies
- Complete monthly inventory and ordering according to beverage and paper supply needs
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and optimize operational efficiency
- Resolve escalated guest concerns and ensure service recovery protocols are followed
- Build relationships with regular guests and maintain high satisfaction scores
- Lead initiatives to enhance the overall dining experience, driving revenue through maximizing
- Collaborate with General Manager on long-term planning, marketing initiatives, and special events
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational innovation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years fine dining restaurant management experience
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict resolution abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
Requirements
- Flexible schedule with regular evening, weekend, and holiday availability
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week as business demands require
- Ability to regularly lift 30+ lbs
- Physical stamina for extended periods of standing and moving throughout service
