You will work full-time, 40 hours a week, contributing to both new construction projects and residential replacement/swap-out projects. Your schedule will provide steady, year-round work as a dedicated member of our installation team.
SHEET METAL TECHNICIAN - HVAC INSTALLER QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installation
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Comfort reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing ductwork and system issues
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work well as part of a crew
Preferred:
- NH Sheet metal license
- Field experience in both new construction and residential service/replacement
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHEET METAL TECHNICIAN - HVAC INSTALLER
As a Sheet Metal Technician - HVAC Installer, you will fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork, vents, and sheet metal components for new construction HVAC systems. You will read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, ensuring every HVAC system is installed accurately. Your work will include installing and connecting ductwork, air handlers, and equipment on new builds, with opportunities to cross over to residential replacement and swap-out projects for added variety. You will inspect and test installed systems to ensure proper airflow and performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise, and work closely with install teams, project leads, and builders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
