Job Type: Contract | Full-Time
Shift: Flexible Day Shifts

Schedule:

40 hours per week
Flexible day shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Rotating days, occasional weekends and holidays
Weekly Pay: $1,267.50

Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Donor Room Apheresis Phlebotomy Technician I for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities:

Perform donor blood collections (whole blood and apheresis), verification, drawing, and aftercare in donor centers and mobile units
Assist at offsite blood drives, including preparation, labeling, processing components, and maintaining supplies/inventory
Recruit platelet donors, train staff, prepare reports, and support promotional events
Conduct quality control, calibrate instruments, and maintain clean and safe work areas
Consult records, resolve donor issues, and stay up to date on policies and procedures

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Effective English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
2 years of experience as a Donor Phlebotomist or 1 year as an Apheresis Phlebotomist
Knowledge of blood groups, Rh types, and donation procedures
National Phlebotomy Certification (maintained)
Current Donor Phlebotomy Technician (DPT, ASCP) Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Typing speed of 30 WPM
Ability to complete Manufacturer Operators Training for Apheresis within 3 months

Preferred Qualifications:

Eligibility for Qualification in Apheresis (QIA, ASCP) or equivalent
