- Location: Salem, MA 01970 (North Shore, near Boston)\n
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 18, 2026 – End: April 18, 2026)\n
- Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab (2 procedure rooms)\n
- Nursing Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)\n
- On-Call Requirement: 7 on-call nights per month (includes one full weekend and 4 additional nights)\n
- Hours per Week: 40\n
- Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients\n
- Charting System: EPIC – Cupid\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

- Minimum 4 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab\n
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required for Massachusetts nursing jobs)\n
- Current ACLS certification\n
- Proven experience with interventional cardiac procedures, including scrubbing and monitoring\n
- Expertise in PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations\n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills\n
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends\n
\n\nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities\n

- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures\n
- Assist with interventional procedures such as PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations\n
- Monitor patient status and respond to cardiac emergencies\n
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC – Cupid electronic health record system\n
- Participate in the on-call schedule, delivering expert care during after-hours cardiac cases\n
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols\n
