Michael Kelly Injury Lawyers is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally with a background in personal injury. This individual will play an integral role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial, while managing a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
\n
· Manage all aspects of a high-volume litigation caseload from suit through trial.
\n
· Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.
\n
· Prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial by organizing exhibits, witness files, and trial notebooks.
\n
· Coordinate and manage discovery, including document production, medical records, and deposition scheduling.
\n
· Conduct legal research utilizing Westlaw and other legal research platforms.
\n
· Maintain accurate case calendars, monitor court deadlines, and ensure timely filings in state and federal courts.
\n
· Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses.
\n
· Review medical records, billing documentation, and insurance claim files relevant to PIP litigation.
\n
· Assist with settlement preparation, mediation materials, and post-judgment matters as needed.
\n
· Maintain organized electronic case files in accordance with firm procedures.
\n
· Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys as required.
\n

Qualifications
\n
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal required. Experience with plaintiff-side civil litigation is strongly preferred.
\n
· Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
\n
· Excellent legal drafting, proofreading, and document management skills.
\n
· Experience preparing discovery, trial exhibits, hearing notebooks, and trial materials.
\n
· Proficiency with legal research platforms, including Westlaw.
\n
· Experience with case management software, including Litify.
\n
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
\n
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
\n
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
