Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position, spanning the 2026-2027 academic year, is for a dedicated individual ready to make a positive difference in middle school students’ lives.
This role requires full-time commitment, totaling 32.5-35 hours weekly, during regular school hours of 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM. You’ll play a vital role in the academic and personal development of a small caseload of approximately 10-16 students, offering focused instruction and intervention.
Qualifications:
- Valid NH Teaching License required
- Previous experience in special education, particularly with students facing mental health or behavioral challenges, is highly valued
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for successful interaction with colleagues, families, and outside partners
- Strong organizational skills to handle evaluations, case management, and report writing
- Familiarity with IEP implementation and compliance
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in a supportive, self-contained environment for students with behavioral and mental health needs
- Manage and maintain students’ IEPs, including writing and updating as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement behavioral plans
- Prepare and conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress reports
- Attend meetings and communicate regularly with parents and staff regarding student progress
