With several openings for Early Childhood Special Education Teachers, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction and individualized support to help children reach their greatest potential. The assignment spans from August 2026 through June 2027, providing consistency and meaningful connection with students.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Special Education Teacher Certification (SPED Cert required; dual certification is not necessary)
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood education
- Comfortable managing an elementary caseload
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Genuine passion for empowering students with diverse learning needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to cultivate an inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor, assess, and communicate student progress with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt curriculum, utilize specialized instructional strategies, and provide direct support to students requiring special education services
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and legal requirements
