Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students in a vibrant educational setting near Bethel, VT. This onsite opportunity focuses on delivering Speech-Language Pathology services to an elementary caseload, spanning Pre-K through 8th grade, for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll work full-time hours (37.5 per week), collaborating with a small group of around 40 students to help them reach their communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP (CCC or Clinical Fellow welcomed)
- Experience in schools and/or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Strengths working with diverse elementary caseloads
- SLPA supervision experience is advantageous
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students PreK–8th grade
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Supervise and consult with SLPA onsite, ensuring quality support and progress
- Maintain thorough student records and compliance with IEPs and documentation requirements
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to a supportive school community, fostering students' academic and social development
