PAY:
\n Travelers Pay:
\n Taxable Amount - $23/hr on W2
\n Lodging Stipend - $1,800 weekly
\n Meals Stipend - $872 weekly
\n Weekly Gross - $3,500 weekly including stipend for 36 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
\n Position - RN-Operating Room
\n Location - 330 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215
\n Duration - 13 weeks contract
\n Night Shift - 7 pm to 7:30 am // 36 hours
\n Candidates must be able to scrub and/or circulate a variety of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Robotics, Kidney and Liver Transplants, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery, ENT (Head & Neck), Gynecology (GYN), Urology, Trauma Surgery, and Organ Procurement.

Specializes in Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery, performing a broad range of procedures including bariatric surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic trauma, spine surgery, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, kidney transplants, and liver transplants.
\n
\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n Provide perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
\n Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for procedures
\n Maintain a sterile environment and ensure adherence to aseptic and infection control practices
\n Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams during operative procedures
\n Perform patient assessments and verify surgical consents, site identification, and procedure details
\n Monitor patient safety throughout surgical procedures and advocate for patient needs
\n Coordinate surgical workflow and ensure availability of required instruments and equipment
\n Manage surgical specimens according to facility policies and procedures
\n Document intraoperative care, surgical counts, and patient outcomes accurately in EMR systems
\n Respond effectively to emergency situations and support a wide range of surgical specialties
\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive surgical outcomes and continuity of care
\n Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
\n

REQUIREMENT:
\n Must have 2+ years of operating roo experience.
\n
BLS and ACLS - Required
\n
Must have recent experience in Kidney Transplant, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedic Trauma, Robotics, Trauma, and Transplant surgery.
\n
\n
\n
During the first week, orientation is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Holiday weeks follow a schedule of four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) regardless of the contracted shift. There are no call requirements for night shift staff, and travelers must be willing to work holidays while on contract. Parking is available but may cost up to $43 per day for day shift or $5 per night for night shift.
