This position allows for a primarily remote work setup, though interactions with colleagues and clients will often occur through virtual platforms. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. As an LCMHC at Dare to Dream, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Providing individual, couple, and family therapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet diverse client needs.
- Collaborating with clients to set defined therapy goals and milestones, promoting an active and goal-oriented therapeutic process.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all regulatory standards to protect client welfare and privacy.
- Engaging in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and team meetings aimed at enhancing therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

- A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling or a related mental health field is required.
- Possession of a valid and active LCMHC license in the state of Vermont.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients from diverse racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices, including CBT, DBT, or similar methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills that foster therapeutic relationships and encourage client engagement.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience\n
While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or family systems therapy will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits\n
