Job DescriptionCompany: E-commerce Industry Job Title: Facilities Technician Employment Type: Contract (9+ Months) Location: Westborough, MA– 01581 (Onsite – 5 Days/Week) Schedule Options: Monday to Friday Pay: $18-$22/hr Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and products using physical observations and available data.
- Perform fault finding, root-cause analysis, debugging, installation troubleshooting, and equipment/product repairs.
- Assemble first-article builds, test fixtures, racks, wiring, and related hardware with accuracy and traceability.
- Conduct detailed hardware inspections and identify, document, and escalate discrepancies.
- Maintain and update SOPs to reflect process improvements and operational changes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling, consumables, test setups, and process optimization.
- Execute defined manufacturing processes while identifying and escalating deviations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help improve production processes.
- Follow all quality, safety, documentation, and equipment-handling requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, fault finding, equipment installation, repair, or debugging.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, testing, or industrial environment.
- Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow complex technical documentation and SOPs.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting, assembling, and documenting hardware.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 7+ hours per shift, and use handheld scanners.
