Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and dedicated Special Education Teachers for full-time roles with school districts in the Newport, New Hampshire area. Position Details:

• Location: Newport, NH

• Schedule: Full-time, School-Based

• Contract: 2025-2026 school year with potential for renewal

Applicant Requirements:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

• Valid New Hampshire Department of Education Certification in Special Education

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)

• Knowledge of IDEA, IEPs, and compliance with state and federal regulations

• Ability to pass all background checks and drug screenings required by the district

• Previous experience in a school-based or special education setting is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities

• Provide specialized instruction in accordance with each students IEP

• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to support student success

• Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning

• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal reporting requirements
