Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within an elementary school setting in Boston, MA for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role is ideal for clinicians specializing in pediatric speech and language development, eager to support young learners in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote effective communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders commonly found in children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited for a collaborative school environment
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts
