Responsibilities of a Behavior Technician (BT):

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism

  • Accurately collect and document behavioral data

  • Follow behavior intervention plans created by BCBAs

  • Support daily living skills (ADLs) and promote independence

  • Safely manage and respond to challenging behaviors

Compensation & Schedule for Behavior Technician (BT):

  • Hourly pay: $22–$28 (based on experience and certification)

  • Full-time and part-time: 15- 40 hours per week

  • Flexible schedule between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM

Qualifications for Behavior Technician (BT):

  • Willingness to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Experience working with children, preferably with autism

  • Strong behavioral management and communication skills
