Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. You will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.

• Provide direct one-on-one or classroom therapy.

• Assist students in appropriately engaging and participating in class.

• Collect and record data on client progress.

• Communicate with teachers, BCBAs, and other staff regarding client progress and treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

  Primary Support Areas

  • Emotional, sensory, and behavioral regulation throughout the school day.

  • Functional communication during frustration, denied access, transitions, and work demands.

  • Flexibility with changes in routine, staff, preferred items, activities, or anticipated scripts.

  • Receptive, expressive, and social language, including unfamiliar WH questions and multi-step directions.

  • Academic engagement, especially phonological processing, decoding, writing, math, and task persistence.

  • Daily living and school independence skills that remain in progress, including some grooming, dressing, classroom, and safety skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred).

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

• Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in an educational setting.

• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.

• Experience with crisis behavior management (preferred)
