CT Technologist (Radiology) – CT/X-ray, Pittsfield, MA. Travel assignment starting 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,698–$2,886. No guaranteed hours stated. 40-hour workweek. Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Setting: hospital-based radiology department with CT emphasis. This CT/X-ray tech role requires independent judgment, CT-specific skills, and a focus on patient care within a fast-paced imaging service.

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of CT and radiographic procedures with independent judgment and clinical reasoning to aid diagnosis.
- Operate CT equipment and related imaging systems (CR/DR, PACS) and troubleshoot routine issues; apply appropriate protocols and contrast administration as needed.
- Obtain IV access and injections when required, with strict adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy policies.
- Communicate clearly with patients and the healthcare team; document procedures and findings in PACS, HIS, and RIS; maintain accurate patient records.
- Maintain department competencies, participate in mandatory education, and contribute to unit quality and safety initiatives.
- May assume supervisory or training responsibilities for assigned areas or personnel as directed by leadership.
Requirements
- Massachusetts Radiology license (must be uploaded with profile)
- ARRT CT Certification (REQUIRED)
- Minimum 2 years CT experience (REQUIRED)
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification (REQUIRED)
- CT experience current within the past year; CT Skills Checklist current to 1 year (documentation required)
- Supervisory reference: 1 signed reference within the past two years (documentation required)
- Residence outside a 50-mile radius of the assignment location; travelers residing within 50 miles will not be considered
- Own vehicle required
- Profile must include permanent address; all scheduling requests must be included at submission
- Scheduling notes: RTO requests must be noted at submission and verified at upload; no more than 5 days RTO accepted; 8-hour shift commitment required; 10/12-hour accommodation requests will not be considered
- Must be able to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment; ability to function independently
