Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN

$40–$45/hour | PRN
Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Bear Mountain in Sudbury, MA. Put your treatment skills to work helping skilled nursing residents improve everyday mobility, from moving comfortably in bed to walking with the appropriate level of support.
What You'll Do

Deliver physical therapy interventions within the plan of care established by the supervising PT.

Guide residents through prescribed strengthening, balance, and endurance activities.

Provide hands-on practice with bed mobility, transfers, and walking while following individual precautions.

Teach and reinforce safe movement techniques and proper use of prescribed assistive devices.

Monitor participation, symptoms, and functional performance, reporting relevant changes to the PT.

Document treatment sessions and share mobility guidance with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues.

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Ability to provide attentive treatment within an established plan of care.

Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Skilled nursing experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
