This role focuses on leave coverage from November through March and involves working closely with students, educators, and families to enhance student success. Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in school-based practice (K-12 preferred)
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, therapy documentation, and collaborative educational teams
  • Ability to adapt services for a wide range of student abilities and grade levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, primarily in an individual and small-group setting
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support students’ physical development and access to the curriculum
  • Maintain accurate records, including session notes and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed
  • Offer expertise and training to school professionals regarding physical development and mobility
