Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using Philips MRI systems, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to safety protocols
- Screen patients for MR safety, obtain consent, and position patients and coils for imaging
- Optimize imaging parameters and sequences to meet clinical protocols; monitor patient comfort; manage contrast administration when within scope
- Review images for technical quality and communicate needs for protocol adjustments to radiologists; document results in Epic EMR
- Maintain equipment safety and perform routine QC, cleaning, and preventative maintenance as directed
- Coordinate with the radiology team to accommodate scheduling, including 1–2 weekends per month and holiday coverage requirements
Requirements
- ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification; MR advanced licensure required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Philips MRI experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred; prior travel experience preferred
