School Psychologist

Location: Springfield, Vermont
Schedule: Full-Time
Duration: Immediate Start Through End of School Year
Grade Levels: K-12

A school district in Springfield, VT is actively seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time assignment serving students across K-12 grade levels through the end of the school year. This position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional success while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students across K-12 populations
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
  • Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, and mental health concerns
  • Assist with intervention planning and progress monitoring
  • Support the development of positive behavioral and academic support strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Vermont School Psychologist Certification
  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and consultation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel

Preferred:

  • Previous school-based experience
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Knowledge of special education processes and eligibility requirements
