Maintenance Supervisor (2nd shift)

Job Description

We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to help support their operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the maintenance team on 2nd shift, keeping equipment and facilities running smoothly.
• Plan and manage preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Make sure tools, equipment, and systems are reliable and available when production needs them.
• Drive cost-effective maintenance practices and look for ways to improve efficiency.
• Coach and develop the maintenance team to ensure strong performance and engagement.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and enforce safety standards.
• Support budgeting and long-term equipment improvement plans.
• Be available for on-call support when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, especially in heavy manufacturing environments.
• Experience with systems like hydraulics, furnaces, or similar industrial equipment.
• At least a few years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (steel, automotive, forging, etc. is a plus).
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems (CMMS) and basic computer skills.
• Comfortable working in a plant environment and handling off-shift responsibilities.
