Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts
- Call required: approximately three weeknights per month (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and one weekend day per month (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Responsibilities
- Perform the role of Circulating Nurse while acting as a patient advocate for anesthetized patients.
- Provide safe and effective care to surgical patients, addressing their physiological and functional needs.
- Interact with a diverse patient population including prenatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric individuals.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, adapting communication to the individual's intellectual level and physical ability.
Requirements
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- One (1) to three (3) years of Operating Room experience
