Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to join a dynamic team operating in the medical devices industry. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing embedded firmware solutions for next-generation medical products, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.


Mission Description

As a Firmware Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Architecture DevelopmentImplement and optimize ARM-based architecture updates to support new hardware platforms
  • Ensure scalability and performance of embedded systems
  • Algorithm DevelopmentDesign and implement charging algorithm logic for the ePatch 2.5 device
  • Optimize power efficiency and charging cycles
  • System IntegrationDevelop embedded C firmware enabling communication with Bluetooth modules
  • Integrate firmware with hardware components and ensure seamless functionality
  • Firmware Development & DebuggingWrite, test, and maintain high-quality embedded C code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to power management and charging cycles
  • Compliance & QualityEnsure firmware aligns with medical device coding standards and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to documentation and validation processes


Profile Requirements

  • Experience:Minimum 6+ years in firmware or embedded systems engineering
  • Technical Skills:Strong expertise in ARM architecture
  • Proficiency in Embedded C programming
  • Experience with Bluetooth stack development and integration
  • Solid knowledge of charging algorithms and power management systems
  • Experience in system integration and firmware debugging
  • Familiarity with medical device development standards
  • Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to resolve complex logic bugs in power management systems
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and reliability
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills


Nice to Have

  • Experience working on regulated environments (medical, automotive, aerospace)
  • Knowledge of low-power embedded systems design
  • Previous experience with wearable or connected medical devices
